Obsidian’s role-playing historical games take inspiration from the concept of character development , and feature heavily stylized art. The games also have a the story of choice that is set in 16th-century Germany. The protagonist is a clever illustrator that is implicated in several murders in Kiersau Abbey over twenty five years. The character is the only one with the ability and determination to find the culprits yet every choice he makes can have a lasting impact and draws him closer to the center of an underlying conspiracy.
